Helping Children with Learning Difficulties using Brain Gym®

I have helped lots of children with learning difficulties by using Brain Gym®.
When 6 year old Taila came to see me, she was having major problems reading, had a low self esteem, experiencing anxiety, poor core stability, balance problems and much more. Although her eye sight was fine she had difficulty eye tracking which affected her reading. We set up specific targeted Brain Gym® exercises for her to do every day for 10 minutes. I worked with her each session once a month. And now, after the eighth session, she is doing really well. She loves reading. She was so excited to show me her little reading book and she wanted to read it all to me. Whereas when she first came to me, she would only read a few words and that was all. It was so difficult for her. She was not ready for reading.

Although her mother was sceptical at first, she decided to give my services a go. She was desperate and wanted to help her daughter. She is now very excited on the results that occurred. This is what she says after seven sessions, "The changes in her are so remarkable. I am so proud of the improvements she has made. Taila is a different girl. She is now reading better. Her writing and school work has improved. Her teacher has also noticed dramatic improvements and is now talking about not keeping her down in grade 1 for next year. Everything has improved. The sceptic in me has gone and now I am a big fan of Brain Gym® and Kinesiology. I would like to thank Enza for her time, effort, her knowledge and encouragement in Taila's advancement."

Over the years I have come across many students that have been getting D's for Mathematics and English. After several sessions using the Brain Gym® exercises and techniques, they are getting A's.

Brain Gym® assists children with reading, writing, mathematics and all areas of academics. Brain Gym® can assist them to improve their self-esteem dramatically, as well. Children improve in all areas and achieve higher grades. There are other areas that people see improvements once they start doing Brain Gym®. All of them notice a big difference in their coordination in sports. Children that start out good at sports actually improve even more.

Young David was having trouble at school, and his mother brought him to me because she wanted to help him with his school work. When I started working with him, I discovered that he wanted to improve his soccer game instead. He showed me how he kicked and head the ball. I could see he was having trouble with his coordination and balance. He would get dizzy. And so I started working with him and then after the session, immediately he could head the ball perfectly, he could move around without getting dizzy! So I gave him some exercises to do at home. When he came back the next session, his mother was so thrilled. She said, "He has improved in his maths and his English." David was also excited. He had improved in playing soccer and enjoyed doing his school work."

Often times, poor coordination is connected to learning difficulties and as you work in improving on one area, it seems to influence and assist in other areas of their learning and school work. This is the main reason why Brain Gym®is so effective in helping children with learning difficulties, because it works to integrate the whole brain and body.
